A port on the Dniester Estuary

The Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Sea Trade Port is a port in the Odesa region with over 50 years of modern history: after the 1970–1971 reconstruction it received its first foreign vessels. In August 2025 the port fully passed into private ownership following a State Property Fund privatization auction — one of the first Ukrainian sea ports sold into private hands. The new owner is preparing a major expansion: a multimodal hub on the Central Asia — Europe route (the Middle Corridor).

Expansion

A multimodal hub of the Middle Corridor

The port development concept was presented in September 2025 at the Black Sea–Caspian logistics forum. The goal is a transit node for cargo between Central Asia, the Caucasus and Europe. The expansion is in the preparation stage.
